Calvary Baptist Church food pantry will take orders for bags of groceries on Monday July 7th from 4-5pm, call 217-342-6671 to place order.  Groceries pickup is Wednesday July 9th 4-5pm.  All needing food assistance are encouraged to call 217-342-6671

The next Dine with a Doc, featuring Dr. James Graham, DPM, will be on Thursday, July 10th from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. This will be at the Senior Center in Effingham. The program is free to Seniors over 60 years of age. Call 217-347-5569 to reserve your seat.

The F.A.C.E. Orchestra Summer Concert is Thursday, July 10, at 7:00 pm.  The concert takes place in downtown Effingham at the new gazebo by the old Effingham County Courthouse. Bring a lawn chair. The concert is free and there are free refreshments sponsored by Washington Savings Bank
