Lydia Wendling has been crowned 2026 Effingham County Fair Junior Miss.
Lydia, the daughter of Jake and Erin Wendling of Watson, was crowned Sunday night by retiring Junior Miss Leah Ring.
The new Junior Miss is assisting the fair queen throughout this year’s fair.
There is a family tie for Junior Miss Lydia; her mother, the former Erin Birch, is a past Effingham County fair queen.
