In Apollo Conference play Effingham defeated Mattoon 25-23, 25-23 to improve to 10-8 on the season. Mattoon won the JV match 26-24, 25-23. Effingham won the Fresh/Soph contest 25-17, 25-19.

St Anthony defeated Cumberland 25-22, 25-18 to remain undefeated in the conference and improve to 15-3.
In the Pink Game the South Central Lady Cougars beat North Clay Cardinals in 2 sets 25-19, 25-23. The Cougars are now 11-6, while the Cardinals are 8-14 on the season. North Clay won the JV match 25-12, 25-12. South Central took the Fresh/Soph in 2 sets 25-11, 25-17.
St. Elmo-Brownstown defeated Neoga in conference play 25-11, 25-20. The Eagles have a 12-3 record after the victory.
Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City won a tight two set match in Egyptian Illini Conference action defeating Mulberry Grove 28-26, 25-23. The Bobcats are 6-13 on the campaign.
Newton is 2-0 in the Little Illini Conference and 18-2 overall after a 25-17, 24-26, 25-17 win over Lawrenceville. The Eagles also won the JV match 25-17, 25-14.
