Effingham St. Anthony fell to Highland by a 5-4 count in high school tennis competition Wednesday.
Drake Brown and Mason Jones were the only two Bulldogs to win singles matches. Brown claimed a 4-6, 6-3,10-7 win at No. 3 while Jones won 3-6,7-5,10-6 at No. 5.
In doubles play, alec Hakman and Charlie Bierman combined to win at No. 2, 7-6,6-3 while Mason Jones and Gabe Huebner won 6-1, 6-0 at No. 3.
