Casey-Westfield edged Effingham St. Anthony, 5-4 in high school tennis competition Tuesday.
The Warriors claimed four of the six singles matches, winning No. 1 through No. 4.
St. Anthony points came at No. 5 as Max Gillenwater was a 6-0, 6-4 winner and at No. 6 as Anthony Brandenburger won 3-6, 6-3, 10-6.
In doubles play, the Bulldogs took two of the three matches. Alec Hakman and Charlie Bierman combined to win at No. 2, 6-1, 7-6 (1). Gillenwater and Mason Jones claimed the No. 3 doubles match, 6-4, 6-2.
