Effingham High School claimed a 6-3 tennis victory over Shelbyville Tuesday.

The Hearts swept the top four singles matches. Blake Hagler was a winner at the No. 1 spot by a 6-3, 6-1 count.

Luca Filippi blanked his opponent at No. 2, 6-0, 6-0. Brady Wilson was a 6-2, 6-0 winner at No. 3 and Noah Jones claimed the No. 4 win, 6-1, 6-3.

In doubles play, Wilson and Filippi won 6-0, 6-4 at the top spot. Hagler and Jones combined to take the No. 2 victory, 6-3, 6-0.
