Effingham St. Anthony fell to Charleston in junior high softball action Thursday, 7-3.
Despite outhitting Charleston by a 9-7 count, the Bullpups committed three errors.
Elle Bierman had two singles and a double while Reagan Niebrugge added a double. Mary Hoke and Isabella McDonald had two singles each. Hoke added an RBI.
Elizabeth Fearday tossed the seven-hitter, striking out seven and giving up seven walks.
