ST. ELMO — Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg put together a 15-hit attack in taking a 10-2 victory over St. Elmo/Brownstown Wednesday in high school softball action.
The Hatchets moved into a 2-0 opening inning lead then tacked on a single run in the second, two in the third and sixth and three in the fourth.
Kinsley Dunaway led the hitting attack with two singles, a double, home run and four RBI while Kendra Hayes added two singles and a triple. Clarissa Johnson added a single, double and an RBI and Zaida Wascher two singles. Makenna Corrie finished with a single and an RBI.
Kalia Friese went the distance on the mound. She gave up two runs on seven hits, walked one and struck out five.
St. Elmo/Brownstown was led in hitting by Brooklyn Landrus with a double and an RBI. Cami Haslett added an RBI.
