Altamont made their first road trip of the season a successful one, posting a 4-1 win over Carlyle.
Ashton Buchanan found Quincy Nierman for Altamont’s first goal, then Preston Kroening found Aiden Rosales for the next score.
In the second half, Rosales picked up a rebound and drove it in himself, sending a left foot finish into the net to make it 3-0. Rosales then fed Chase Pals for Altamont’s fourth goal. Carlyle scored late after an Altamont lineup change.
Eli Barnes ended with four saves for the Indians.
Altamont outshot Carlyle 15-2.
Altamont improved to 5-1 and heads to Olney on Saturday morning.
