 Teutopolis Wins State Bass Fishing Tournament

Lake Shelbyville:

The Teutopolis team of Brady Bloemer (Jr.) and Will Bloemer (Fr.) are the state tournament champs after weighing in 10 fish that tipped the scales at 31 pounds, 9 ounces. The duo finished almost 2 pounds ahead of second place White Hall with a total of 29-15. Shelbyville was third with 26-08. Salem finished fourth with 25-06, and Minooka rounded out the top 5 with 23-15.

The Bloemer’s Head Coach is Lee Buehnerkemper, and their driver was Lance Dasenbrock.

Of the 62 boats on the water from the area Keegan Overbeck (Jr.) and Addison Overbeck (So.) from St. Anthony finished 17th with a weight of 20-01.  Their Driver/Head Coach is Kevin Overbeck.

Newton’s team of Jack James (So.) and Beau Bennett (So.) coached by Chris Bradley and driven by John Bennett came home with 17-09 to finish 27th overall.
