Students from all across the state are getting ready to participate in the 2026 Illinois State High School Clay Target League (ILSHSCTL) State Tournaments soon.
This year a total of 1,516 athletes from 113 teams will be participating across three different tournaments (Trap, Skeet, and Sporting Clays).
The largest will be the 2026 ILSHSCTL Trap Shooting State Tournament, held at Brittany Shooting Park in Bunker Hill, Illinois on May 30-31, 2026. The event will feature over 1,300 athletes from 83 high school teams.
The Skeet event will be held at Decatur Gun Club in Decatur, Illinois on May 29, 2026, featuring 128 athletes from 17 teams.
The Sporting Clays event will be held at Nilo Farms in Brighton, Illinois on June 13, 2026, featuring 84 athletes from 13 teams.
