A couple of changes have been announced for Effingham High School’s Meet The Hearts tonight at the Effingham Big Gym and Washington Savings Bank Stadium due to the heat advisory and the practice field conditions from today’s rainfall.
At 5 p.m. in the Big Gym, the school song and cheer will be sung and performed by Effingham High School football cheer squad. There will be a welcome and introduction.
There will then be a Sportsbackers introduction and membership drive information.
Beginning at 5:10 p.m., there will be a recognition of all fall sports teams. In high school that includes football cheer, soccer, girls tennis, cross country, girls golf, boys golf, football and volleyball.
In junior high school that is cross country, softball and baseball.
Soccer scrimmage has been canceled. Volleyball scrimmage will take place in the big gym and football practice will take place at Washington Savings Bank Stadium, both at 5:30 p.m.
