STRASBURG — Effingham St. Anthony pounded out 11 hits and scored 11 runs in an 11-3 victory over Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg in a game heard on KJ Country 102.3. Tuesday.
The Bulldogs moved into a 4-0 lead in the third inning then added on two more runs in the fourth, three in the fifth and two in the sixth.
St. Anthony finished with 11 hits in the contest led by Chase Dorris with a single, double and an RBI, Quentin Stephens with a single and double, Curtis Tingley with two singles and three RBI, Blake Verdeyen with a single and three RBI and Alex Mayer and Jonny Gannaway with a single and an RBI each.
Dorris went the six innings, striking out 13 batters. He gave up three hits and walked two.
Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg was led in hitting by Mason Manhart, Brody Barnard and Wyatt Wetherell with a single each.

Altamont took a 1-0 lead in the opening inning and went on for a 12-1 victory over Dieterich Tuesday.
The Indians pushed ahead 2-0 in the second and led 5-1 in the third. Altamont tacked on five more runs in the sixth and added two more in the seventh.
Parker Bell led the way with a double, home run and five RBI. Xavier Logue added a single and double, Kaiden Wolff two singles and two RBI, Reed Stuemke two singles, John Childerson and Blake Berg a single and an RBI each. Carson Milleville added an RBI.
Dieterich was led by Gavin Meinhart, Alex Schottman and Brycen Wendte with a single each. Wendte added an RBI.
Milleville went the distance on the mound giving up one run on three hits. He struck out five and walked two.

The Cougars moved into a 3-0 opening inning lead then added on two more runs in the fifth, three in the sixth and finished with four in the seventh.
South Central had five hits.
Brownstown/St. Elmo had two hits, singles by Jayce Gillespie and Gavin Schnarre.
BSE dropped to 1-7 in the National Trail Conference, 9-10 overall.
