BROWNSTOWN — Brownstown/St. Elmo put together a 12-run second and blanked Cisne by a 16-0 count in four innings of high school baseball Wednesday.
Gavin Schnarre tossed a no-hitter over three innings. He gave up four walks while striking out six. Dodge Willms came on to throw the final inning and struck out three.
Meanwhile, BSE finished with six extra base hits. Willms had a triple while Calvin Voelker, Fred Towler, Drayden Bogart and Schnarre had a double each.
St. Elmo/Brownstown evened its record at 7-7 and won’t return to action until Monday facing Ramsey in the Egyptian-Illini/Midland Trail Conference Tournament.
