Effingham St. Anthony handed Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City an 11-1 loss in six innings of junior high baseball competition Monday.
The Bullpups held a 4-0 opening inning lead and tacked on three more in the second. The game ended in the sixth via the 10-run rule.
B. Niebrugge had two doubles for the winners while P. Nosbisch had a double and an RBI, R. Wohltman two singles and three RBI and C. Storm and J. Gilmore a single and an RBI each.
CHBC was led by C. Roley and T. Brown with a single each.

At Dieterich
Richland County moved into a 2-0 lead in the fifth but Dieterich came back to knot the score at 2-2 in the bottom of the sixth Monday.
However, Richland County tallied the winning run in the top of the seventh for the 3-2 victory.
Dieterich outhit Richland County by a 5-4 count. Keck led the way with a double while McQueen had two singles. Kessler and Gispon added an RBI each.
