At North Clay/Clay City
Altamont Indians started off with eight hits to North Clay, but they still fell 7-4 to the Cardinal’s in Louisville Friday evening.
Reed Stuemke led the Indians with two hits.
North Clay got on the board in the bottom of the second inning after a error scored one run, and Colton Cartright doubled, scoring two runs.
A single by Collin Schnepper gave North Clay a lead in the bottom of the third inning.
The starting pitcher gave up five hits and two runs over fine innings, striking out seven and walking none.
Zaine Miller, John Childerson, Xavier Logue, and Kaiden Wolff each drove in one run for Altamont Varisty Indians.
At St. Anthony
St. Anthony led with a 1-0 in the first inning and kept adding up runs on Fridays showdown with the Brownstown Bombers ending the score 12-2.
Pitching on the mound for St. Anthony was Verdeyen for four innings striking out nine with only two walks.
For Brownstown on the mound was Willms pitching four innings and striking out one and walking four.

At Windsor/Stewardson/Strasburg
The Hatchets took a win in Neoga Indians from the first innings starting out slow.
No runs from either team until the fourth inning when Stewardson/Strasburg hit one from Barnard taking the Hatchets to a 1-0 lead and ending the game in the seventh.
Pitching on the mound was Manhart with two strikeouts and one walk.
Wetherall also pitched a inning and had two strikeouts and a walk to make a hard game for the Indians.
Hakman on the mound for Neoga having seven strikeouts and no walks.
