Dieterich pounded out 15 hits and handed Neoga a 14-5 loss in junior high baseball action Monday.

Dieterich was led in hitting by Bohnhoff with a single, home run and four RBI, Keck with three singles, a double and two RBI, Nussmeyer with two singles and two RBI, Stortzum and Faller with two singles and an RBI each, Nichols with single and two RBI and Engelmeier with a single and an RBI. Gipson added an RBI.

Neoga was led by Coy with a solo home run, Bright with a single and double, Strohl with two singles and an RBI and Brandenburg with an RBI.

Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City edged out to a 2-0 opening inning lead and went on for a 9-4 victory over Sigel St. Michael Monday.

St. Michael came back to tie the score at 3-3 in the third inning and moved ahead with a run in the top of the fifth. But CHBC put together two runs in the bottom of the fifth and four in the sixth for the win.

Both teams had six hits and one error. CHBC was led by Roadarmel with two singles, two doubles and two RBI, Noble with a single and two RBI and Roley, Stuckemeyer and Hall with an RBI each.

Cumberland claimed a 9-3 victory over North Clay Monday.

North Clay dropped to 0-3 in the National Trail Conference and 1-6 overall. North Clay is back in action today against Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City at 4:30 p.m.
