Junior High Baseball – August 18 Results 

SHELBYVILLE — St. Anthony moved into a 3-0 lead on Shelbyville Moulton and went on for 11-3 victory in junior high baseball on Tuesday.

Gilmore led the way in hitting with a single, and a double and finished with two RBI. Verdeyen with a single, double and three RBI. Wohltman ended with a double and two RBI and St. Anthony taking the win.

Dust tossed 4.1 innings and gave up two runs on one hit, three walks and striking out six.

Dieterich led off with a lead in the first with four runs and went on to blank Newton 6-0.

Keck pitched six innings and struck out seven while giving up four hits.

Keck led with a double, and RBI while Bohnhoff and Funneman both had two singles. Gipson had a single and drove in three runs.

Newton was led by Elliott with two singles.
