 American League Wins All-Star Baseball Game

Once again the National League went down to defeat at the 2026 All-Star Baseball Game by a 4-0 count Tuesday.

This time, the National Leaguers could only come up with three hits while the American League finished with seven.

American League pitchers kept the National Leaguers under control. the lone hits for the NL squad were Juan Soto in the fourth inning, Pete Crow-Armstrong in the eighth and Otto Lopez in the ninth inning. They combined to strike out 15 NL players.

Meanwhile, the American League finished with seven hits. The Chicago White Sox’ Miguel Vargas hit a solo home run in the eighth. Cody Bellinger had a two-run single in the first while Ben Rice had an RBI single, also in the first. Yordan Alvarez, Shea Langelers, Willson Contreras and Randy Arozorena had a single each.

This was the 10th shutout in All-Star history. The AL did it in 2013.

Cody Bellinger was named the Most Valuable Player. He is the fourth Yankee to win the MVP award.

Hitting for the National League were Juan Soto, Otto Lopez and Pete Crow-Armstrong.
