Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg blanked Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City in high school baseball action Wednesday, 15-0 in four innings.

The Hatchets moved into a 7-0 opening inning lead and never looked back.

Branson Tingley picked up the pitching victory.

CHBC was led in hitting by Charlie Hardimon with two singles.

Okaw Valley played host to Dieterich and claimed a 3-0 victory Wednesday.

Okaw Valley tallied single runs in the first, third and fourth innings behind an eight-hit attack.

Dieterich had seven hits led by Gavin Meinhart with a single and double and Bryce Bohnhoff with a double.

Okaw Valley’s winning pitcher, B. Montgomery, tossed a seven-hitter with two walks and 10 strikeouts.

Edwards County (Albion) came calling and picked up a 14-9 win over Cumberland Wednesday.

Edwards County moved into a 2-0 opening inning lead then had an eight-run second and a four-run fifth.

Cumberland finished with five hits led by Kade McMechan with a double and an RBI. Maddox Miller and Grady Jones had a single and an RBI each.

Edward County used five pitchers who gave up five hits, walked 10 and struck out 11.

Cisne edged Brownstown 8-7 in action Wednesday.

BSE held a 2-0 lead in the second inning then tacked on a single run in the third. Cisne came back with two runs in the fourth and moved ahead 4-3 in the top of the fifth. BSE knotted the score in the bottom of the fifth.

But Cisne scored four runs in the seventh to lead 8-4. The Bombers made another comeback, scoring three runs in the bottom of the seventh only to fall short.

Lucas Powell led BSE with three singles and an RBI while Nolan Wilhour added two singles. Jayce Gillespie had a single and two RBI.

Brownstown/St. Elmo dropped to 9-1 on the season.
