Zona Gail Doty, 93, of Strasburg, IL, passed away at 4:25 p.m. on Sunday, August 16, 2026, in her residence.

Funeral services will be held at noon on Saturday, August 22, 2026, in Strasburg Community Church, Strasburg, IL with Co-Pastor Doretta Gordon officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. – noon Saturday in the church. Burial will be in Grace Cemetery, Strasburg, IL. Memorials may be given to the Strasburg Community Church or the Alzheimer’s Association. Arrangements are by Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Strasburg, IL.

Zona Gail was born on March 9, 1933, in Strasburg, IL, the daughter of Donald and Ruth (Culver) Webner. She graduated from Strasburg High School in the Class of 1951. Zona Gail married Bernard F. Doty on June 7, 1953, and they were blessed with two sons, Steve and Randy. She worked as a secretary for Stewardson-Strasburg Elementary School. Zona Gail was a member of Strasburg Community Church.

Zona Gail is survived by her son, Randy Doty and wife Dawn of Windsor, IL; daughter-in-law, Marcia Doty of Lafayette, IN; sister, Wanda Joy Kastl and husband George of Decatur, IL; brother, John Dale Webner and wife Margaret of Strasburg, IL; grandchildren, Stephanie Daugherty (Mike), Michael Doty (Tara), Elizabeth Short (Brian), and Elizsha Hardy (Tim); great grandchildren, Madelyn Rothenberger (Jacob), Mathew Daugherty (Zoey), Mason Daugherty (Josie), Dylan Doty (Kaitlyn), Tatum Doty, Dawson Doty (fiancée, Natsuki Hata), Brock Short, Brianne Short, Malyah Darnell and Callaway Darnell; step-great grandchildren, Aiden Hardy and Liam Hardy; and great great granddaughter, Lula Jean Daugherty and two more due in 2027.

She was preceded in death her parents; husband, Bernard on February 28, 2011; son, Steve Doty on January 15, 2026; and brother and sister-in-law, Robert & Janet Webner.
