Lori Ann Carter age 59, of Newton passed away Saturday, June 6, 2026 at her home.
Cremation rites will be accorded to Lori. No formal services are planned at this time.
Lori was born on June 26, 1966, in Newton, Illinois, the daughter of Victor James and Marilyn Sue (Andrews) Brothers. Lori spent her life being a mother and homemaker. Lori will be remembered as friendly and kind. She had a large circle of friends and never met a stranger. She loved to talk to people. She loved animals, especially her cats. Her son, Steven, was her pride and joy.
Lori will be loved and remembered by her son, Steven Winter, wife Courtney of Newton; her four grandchildren, Grayson Winter, Jackson Winter, Calvin Winter and Harmony Winter and sister-in-law, Emily Brothers of Newton.
Her parents and brother, Terry Brothers preceded her in death.
