Michael E.”Mike” Amacher (68) of Farina passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at his home surrounded by family.
Mike was born on December 31, 1957 in Mattoon, IL, to parents Daniel and Dorothy Amacher. He married Cynthia Amacher in 2004.
Mike is survived by his children, Lisa (Robert) Harper, Josh (Rhea Shirley) Amacher, Alicia (Ashley) Davis, Wayne (Kristin) Reid, and Makia Charlton; siblings, Charles(Jane)Amacher, Sandra(Alan)Brown, Cathy(Larry)Bayers, and Pam Ealy; 16 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, and brother, Fredrick Amacher.
He will be cremated, with burial and a celebration of life to be held at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham.
