Shari Lynn Hall, age 64, of Mason, Illinois passed away on Friday, April 10, 2026, at HSHS St. John’s Hospital, Springfield, Illinois, surrounded by the love of her family. Shari continued her legacy of helping people by donating her organs to Gift of Hope.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Pagel Funeral Home, Edgewood, Illinois with visitation one hour prior to start of service. Ron Mulvany will be officiating. Burial will take place in the Iola Cemetery, Iola, Illinois. Visitation will take place on Friday, April 17, 2026, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.at the Pagel Funeral Home, Edgewood, Illinois. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to help offset the cost of the funeral and may be left at the funeral home or online at www.pagelfuneralhome.com. Shari was born on February 16, 1962, in Effingham, Illinois, the daughter of Jerry L Colclasure and Linda L. (Fritts) Allen. She collected antiques and clocks, enjoyed thrifting, and loved her dogs. Every year she would make crosses and take them to the cemeteries for family and friends. Shari organized benefits for many and always opened her home to anyone that needed a place to stay. She took her job of working at the Edgewood American Legion to heart, always wanting to do her best and keep the Legion open and thriving. Shari will be remembered for her giving nature and always ready to help someone in need.
She is survived by her fiancé, Jim Phillips of Mason, Illinois; daughter Amanda (husband, Randy Prause) Nohren, of Candler, North Carolina, Myca Brown of Edgewood; son James “Jimbo” Phillips of Altamont, Illinois; mother, Linda Allen of Farina, Illinois; Sisters, Jenita Colclasure (Bart Casseday) of Farina, Illinois, Melissa Allen of Effingham, Illinois; brother, John Allen II of Effingham, Illinois; grandchildren, Trey, Kyle, Nathan, Owen, Joshua, Scott, Ethan, and Lilly; great-grandchildren, Easton, Everliegh, Emersyn, Zeke, Eli, Ember, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Colclasure; brother, Gerald “Bud” Colclasure; and bonus dad, John Allen.
