Champaign County Coroner Laurie Brauer is releasing the name of an individual who died from injuries sustained in a motor-vehicle crash on October 30th at approximately 6:15 pm on Route 47 near Foosland, Illinois.
23 year old Charles Nelson of Batavia, Illinois was pronounced dead at the scene at 7:30 pm on October 30th, 2026.
An autopsy has been scheduled.
The circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation by the Illinois State Police.
