Champaign County Coroner Laurie Brauer is confirming the death of an individual following a motor-vehicle crash that occurred on October 11th, 2026 at approximately 2:13 am near 800 E CR 3000 N, Dewey, Illinois.
Pedro N. Martin 27, of Champaign was pronounced dead on the scene at 3:36 am.
An autopsy has been scheduled.
The circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation by the Illinois State Police.
