The Teutopolis Village Board handled a lot of items during their Village Board Meeting on Wednesday.
One main topic of discussion from the Board was the discussion for Street and Subdivision names for the new proposed TIF 3 Subdivision. The subdivision name will be referred to as Heritage Acres, with the possible street names being Old Village Road, Legacy Lane or Pioneer Drive.
The Village Board approved on the Levy and Assessment of Taxes for the Fiscal Year, agreeing to not raise taxes over 5%.
The Village Board also approved on the purchase of tires for one of the police cars from Salem Tire Center for $654.00, and the purchase of a Toughbook laptop for the Police Department from Magoo & Associates for $6,900.
The Village Board approved an estimate from Esker & Walker for $93,368.31 for the Main Street Sidewalk Project, and agreed to use funds from TIF 2 for the payment.
Lastly, the Village Board approved a project agreement with Milano & Grunloh to assist with drainage from Wall Street to Smith Street, and aproved the Annual Civics Club Halloween Parade on October 30, at 5:30 pm.
