Effingham City Council members adopted a pair of resolutions that would authorize an issuance of Liquor Licenses to the Lounge at the Crossings located at 1301 Avenue of Mid-America, and Sunset Event Space located at 1202 North Keller Drive. If approved, This would give the Lounge at the Crossing a Class R/E Liquor License, and Sunset Event Space a Class CC Liquor License.
The Council also approved the Final Change Order in the total amount of $39,946.65 that is recommended for the additional streets added to the Paving Marking Project.
The Council also recognized Jeremey Giles as the Employee of the Quarter, and introduced two new hires; Kristin Harvey as the new Mayor’s Assistant, and Po Wilkey as an Economic Development Specialist.
