North Clay school board members have adopted a budget for the fiscal year calling for more outgo than income.
Expenditures total $10.4 million, while revenues total $9.7 million.
In personnel matters, North Clay board members hired Hollie McCluskey as a permanent sub, approved Kim Smith as a volunteer at the elementary/junior high school, approved Kathy Byers as a volunteer at the elementary/junior high school, approved Alex Boose as junior high school boys basketball assistant coach, and authorized the Administration to hire non-certified personnel, as needed.
Board member Barry Adair shared that information would be gathered for bids for a potential concession stand and restroom facility for the high school baseball field area.
Superintendent Keith Price shared information on new safety procedures present on campus this school year.
