State Senator Steve McClure (R-Springfield) is once again being recognized by a statewide organization for his support of pro-growth policies that help businesses thrive and create good-paying jobs.
“If we want to make sure people can earn a good living and support their families, then we have to support policies that help grow our economy and help our manufacturers thrive,” said Senator McClure. “Strong businesses equal better jobs and opportunities for the people we represent.”
The Illinois Manufacturers Association ranks lawmakers based on their voting record and how that represents their support for policies that help grow the state’s economy and allow manufacturers and their employees to succeed.
Senator McClure was ranked among the top ten Senators for the 2025 and 2026 legislative sessions for his work in supporting Illinois manufacturers and the jobs they create.
“Manufacturing is the bedrock of Illinois’ economy, and we’re proud to recognize the elected officials who support policies that allow the industry to grow and thrive,” said Donovan Griffith, Executive Vice President & Chief Strategy Officer for the IMA.
