The Village of Stewardson is under a boil water order until further notice.
Water Superintendent Larry Root said they are refilling the water tower after maintenance has been completed and will be flushing hydrants Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday this week. Residents may experience low pressure for about two hours today when the refill occurs. After samples are taken and the results are good for two consecutive days, the boil order will be lifted.
