Brownstown school board members acted on several personnel matters.
Angela Wyatt was hired as a long-term substitute for junior high special education, Brandy Christian was hired as a long-term substitute for high school special education, David Watkins was hired as a long-term substitute teacher for a maternity leave, and Kathy Brown was hired as a long-term substitute teacher for a maternity leave. The board accepted the resignation of Lori Otto as junior high special education teacher.
Board members approved retired teacher substitute pay as $150 for retired teachers, other than Brownstown retired teachers, who will be paid $160.
A public hearing on the tentative budget for Brownstown will be held on Monday, September 21 at 5:30pm. The tentative budget will be on display in the District office beginning August 21.
