The Village of Stewardson will be draining the water tower for repairs on Monday, August 10.
Water service will be interrupted for residents in the 200 block of North Pine Street for a short period of time to drain the power, and then a boil water order will be in effect in the 200 block of North Pine until further notice.
The Village will use their interconnect with EJ Water during the tower repairs, which are expected to take seven to eight days. Residents may experience low pressure at times during the repairs.
