Country singing star Jo Dee Messina will headline tonight at the 82nd Annual Effingham County Fair. Gates will open at 6pm. Cole Goodwin will be the opening act.
Jo Dee has had many country hits including a number of #1 songs in her long career, and released this year her first album of new music in 10 years.
Also today, the final day of harness racing action. 10 heats are scheduled and you can hear the action on KJ Country 102.3.
The Freedom 250 Museum will be open from 11am to 9pm, and the Community Showcase will have presentations in the Schuetzenfest Building at 3:30pm and 5:30pm. Evan Williamson will be on the free stage at 5pm.
Luehr’s Ideal Rides will open at 6pm and it’ll be 2 for 1 Night.
