Teutopolis village board members discussed an intergovernmental agreement between the village and the Unit #50 school district Wednesday night.
The Village had made an offer, then the school board made a counteroffer. Village board members discussed the counteroffer, then decided to continue to discuss the counteroffer.
The Board also approved a bid award for a sidewalk project on Main Street. The bid went to Esker and Walker for $111,000.
Board members released the village’s claim on a lot developed by Fieldcrest Homes, and approved a 90-day pay increase for police officer Doug Holman.
The Board approved a change order increase to Effingham Asphalt on the John Street box culvert replacement project, and approved a TIF 2 intergovernmental agreement with the Teutopolis Fire Protection District. The village will pay the fire district two payments of $32,248.13 each. Also approved was a payment of $87,840 to MBI Construction for repairs to Harvester Street, and a payment of $57,672 to Effingham Asphalt for the John Street box culvert project.
Board members approved Teutopolis for Tomorrow to conduct Garage Band Night until midnight later this month. Also approved was a resolution in support of an Illinois Transportation Enhancement Program for the Teutopolis Main and Southern Row neighborhood pedestrian project.
