An Amtrak train collided with a semi in Arcola just before noon today.
The collision occurred on the crossing at Illinois Route 133.
All of the approximately 60 train passengers were taken to the community center in Arcola. Two of the passengers requested to be taken to area hospitals for treatment.
Illinois Route 133 between US Route 45 and Oak Street in Arcola was closed as of mid-afternoon.
