Stewardson-Strasburg school board members voted this month to approve a proposal from FTS Sound for an upgrade of the grade school gym sound system.
The Board also approved a quote from Paul Tabbert not to exceed $29,138.50 for improvements to the bus parking area, and approved the closed bid sale of two scorers tables. Also approved was the completion of the bus barn office not to exceed $3,000 with the transaction completed by August 12.
Board members also approved the renewal of Christy Elder’s psychologist contract for the coming school year, and approved the hire of Melanie Thornton as temporary fulltime substitute teacher for the first semester of the coming school year.
