Robert Cowden and his dog, Enzo the Great, traveled through Effingham on their way from Kansas to Pittsburgh.
Robert is an alcoholic but has been clean and sober for some time. He has been through quite a journey including losing everything, except his dog. That’s Enzo the Great.
Robert has a goal of traveling 100 miles a week until he reaches Pittsburgh. He said he has an agreement with a canoe company in Pittsburgh, with a plan to travel south from Pittsburgh to the Gulf of Mexico.
