Midwest Marina was a chief topic at this month’s meeting of the Effingham Water Authority.
Alan Tucker shared that before the State will issue a liquor license, a sub lease is required showing Midwest Construction Company is leasing the marina to Midwest Marina. The office will prepare necessary paperwork.
Tucker also discussed putting retractable sun shades above the outdoor dining area, and will make a drawing of what will look like for the Board to consider.
Tucker and the Board also discussed possibilities for contractor sites.
Authority Attorney Kyle Boose reported that correspondence letters regarding cleanup of Lot 1 had been e-mailed to the Board for their review. Boose and the Board also discussed the Winterrowd Lease and the options open to the Board after redeeming the property from the tax sale.
