Effingham Noon Rotarians learned Wednesday that coaching is more than Xs and Os.
Josh Forsythe is the boys and girls golf coach at Windsor/Stew-Stras. Forsythe has coached golf and other sports for several seasons and is also a teacher.
Forsythe shared about his coaching career, including establishing a culture of success at schools when they haven’t had a history of success. What offense and defense your basketball team is going to run is a huge factor, but how you stand when they play the National Anthem is a consideration as well as your demeanor on the golf course.
Noon Rotarian Mitchell Martin served as the program chairman.
