Officials from World Wide Technology Raceway announced today that Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) has been named as the Official Medical Care Provider of the Illinois based track.

Through this partnership HSHS will provide health care personnel throughout the facility during all national events and will reside in the infield medical center and the midway first aid center. As part of this multi-year agreement, HSHS will hold the entitlement name of the two on-site medical care centers that the health system will staff.

“We are proud to serve as the official medical care provider for the World Wide Technology Raceway and to support the safety and well-being of everyone who walks through the gates, from drivers and pit crews to fans and families,” said Chris Klay, HSHS Southern Illinois Market President and CEO. “For more than 150 years, families and communities across Southwestern Illinois have trusted HSHS for their care, and we are honored to extend that same commitment to the many visitors who travel to the region for race events throughout the season.”

HSHS delivers high-quality care to patients at their 13 hospitals and more than 200 physician practices throughout Illinois and Wisconsin and will continue to bring their first-class service to the Madison-based track.

“We are proud to partner with Hospital Sisters Health System for the upcoming years,” said WWT Raceway Executive Vice President and General Manager Chris Blair. “Together, we are committed to providing the highest level of care and support for everyone who visits the raceway.”
