Effingham Noon Rotarians heard about the state’s Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program at their April 29 gathering.

Lisa Light is a regional ombudsman and works from the Effingham City/County Committee on Aging. Light discussed how an ombudsman helps with quality of life issues for those who reside in long-term care facilities. She was invited to share by her daughter, Noon Rotarian Laurel Light, who is also part of the New Spirits Rotary Club.
