The EASE Community Alliance has invited the candidates for Congress in the 12th District to a Town Hall meeting.
The session is scheduled from 1 to 3pm Sunday, May 3 at the offices of the Illinois Education Association at 104 Greenview Drive in Effingham.
Democratic candidate Julie Fortier and incumbent Republican Mike Bost have been invited to attend. Fortier plans to attend, and Bost is yet to respond.
The event is open to the public. Those planning to attend are asked to take a non-perishable food item to support local food pantries.
