 SAHS ACES Team Wins State Championship

(THE ST. ANTHONY HIGH SCHOOL STATE CHAMPION ACES TEAM…Madison Walker, Laney Walker, Holly Goldstein, Norah Frost, Sophia Emmerich, Gianna Frisbie, Ellie Link, Mason Jones, Isaac Fallert, Michael Wright, Oliver Kreke, Eli Hiatt, Riley Miller, Ronan Bailey)

The St. Anthony High School ACES Team won the state championship at the 300 Division competition in Casey.

Of 54 Illinois high schools, St. Anthony scored the highest, winning first place at State.

St. Anthony scored 100% in the areas of Biology, Mathematics, and Physics.

Laney Walker and Madison Walker placed first in Biology, Michael Wright placed second in Mathematics, Ronan Bailey placed first in Physics, and Isaac Fallert placed second in Physics. The team is coached by Matthew Poston.

ACES is an acronym for Academic Challenge for Engineering and Science.
