The official ribbon cutting ceremony for the new Fire Training Center for the Effingham area is set for Friday.
The ceremony will begin at 3pm at 705 East Eiche Avenue in Effingham. The ceremony will include brief remarks, followed by the ribbon cutting and an opportunity to tour the facility.
Effingham Fire Chief Brant Yochum said, “This facility is a significant investment in our firefighters’ safety, training, and preparedness, and will serve as a regional asset for training and collaboration with our mutual aid partners.”
