Effingham City Plan Commission members voted Tuesday to recommend the City Council approve a plat of Heritage Crossing Subdivision.
The subdivision involves 18 lots of attached single-family dwellings along Heritage Avenue, east from Henrietta Street.
The Commission also approved a site plan of the development, east to Medical Park Drive, and recommended the City Council rezone the property from single-family dwelling district to attached single-family dwelling district.
Commission members also recommended the City Council approve text amendments to the Zoning Ordinance regarding site plan review standards and buffer criteria.
The Plan Commission also recommended the City Council vacate Henrietta Street, south from St. Anthony Avenue.
Last night’s meeting was the final Plan Commission meeting for members Mark Thies and Kevin Gouchenouer. Thies is completing 15 years on the Commission, Gouchenouer three years.
