Teutopolis school board members learned Monday that a grade school renovation listening session with guided tours is scheduled for April 28 at 6pm.
More details will be shared as the event approaches.
The District is also working on expansion of the junior high school building.
The Board also approved registration fees and lunch prices for the coming school year. Those fees and prices will remain unchanged. The Board also expelled a student through the coming school year, but the expulsion will be held in abeyance if the student successfully completes an educational program approved by the District.
In personnel moves, the Teutopolis board approved the requested reassignment of Wendy Kreke from grade school teacher to grade school PE. The Board hired Rebekah Repking as high school secretary, Owen Heuerman as a high school boys tennis volunteer, Jake Utz as a junior high track volunteer, Wendy Kreke as co-sponsor of grade school Student Council, and work-based learning student workers at the grade school. A list of summer workers was also approved with work beginning no earlier than June 1 and to conclude no later than July 31.
The Board established substitute teacher pay rates and junior high sports officials pay for the coming school year, and approved administrator, director and other non-union employment extensions and wages for the coming school year. They also approved student teachers for the coming year.
