 St. Elmo Man Sentenced to Prison in Shelby County Court Case

A St. Elmo man has been sentenced to prison in Fayette County Circuit Court on a domestic battery count.

46-year-old Lawrence Moore pled guilty to the count Tuesday. Moore was sentenced to three years in prison by Judge Allan Lolie. He had been arrested in February.

Also Tuesday, Shelbyville resident William E. Lawrence was sentenced by Judge Lolie to 30 months in prison. Lawrence pled guilty to a charge of unlawful possession of weapons by a felon. He had been arrested in May of 2024.
