The Effingham County Economic Development Advisory Committee Tuesday discussed funding for two new businesses. The final say on funding for the projects rests with the Effingham County Board when they meet later this month.
One holdup has been a delay in receiving grant funding that was approved several months ago, but has been delayed at the federal level.
One of the projects might also qualify for City funding for improvements to its facility. The developers hope to open the business in April.
