BBQ Ribs Meal With Effingham VFW Auxiliary
VFW Auxiliary Post 1769 in Effingham are starting their meals again in September. The menu for Friday, September 5th will be: BBQ Ribs, hashbrown casserole, vegetable, dessert, and coffee, tea, or lemonade for $8.00. Serving is from 5:00-6:30 p.m. at the VFW on Veterans Drive.

D.A.V. Fund Drive in Effingham
The Disabled American Veterans Chapter #7 will be out collecting funds for Forget-Me-Not Day. D.A.V. associates will be in various Effingham locations accepting donations on Friday, September 5, from 7:00 - Noon, and Saturday, September 6, from 7:00 - 1:00 pm. Collected donations will go towards local disabled veterans.

Effingham Farmer’s Market
The Effingham Farmer’s Market will be every Saturday, from June 14th through October 25th. Vendors will be selling fresh produce, baked goods, and handcrafted arts and crafts.
